Chemical-analytical laboratory
SGL Spezial- und Bergbau-Servicegesellschaft Lauchhammer operates an independent, accredited, chemical-analytical testing laboratory at the locations Lübbenau OT Kittlitz and Rothenburg O.L./. The laboratory offers analytical and sampling services in the fields of drinking water, wastewater, groundwater, surface water, as well as investigations of soils and other solids e.g. according to LAGA and DepV. Our analytical laboratory has been accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. The requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 are monitored by SQS.

Approved drinking water testing laboratory
Since April 1999, our laboratory has been an "Approved examination center for certain wastewater and water investigations and sampling in the State of Brandenburg" by the Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Regional Planning of the State of Brandenburg, as well as an "Approved examination center according to the OLB guideline for the processing of final operation plans for open-cast plants" by the Upper Mining Authority of the State of Brandenburg.
State-of-the-art laboratory equipment
The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art analytical systems (ICP-OES, ICP-MS, HSGC-MS, GC-MS, HPLC, HPLC-MS, AOX/EOX analyzer, TOC analyzer, ion chromatography).
Since 2022, an HPLC-MS has been implemented and accredited for analyses of PFAS compounds, studies of glyphosate, AMPA, and pesticides and biocidal active ingredients.
